Extended Essay

The essay topic i'm researching into is, Does Animation and Visual Storytelling teach children? 
I would like to develop an essay that looks into why visual storytelling helps children to learn and why it is an effective way of learning. I've found a lot of research on this topic at the moment i'm building up my reference and taking out the useful information. List of some of the books and journals I have been reading.
