Described versions of story

Penny is a 10 year old girl who performs in a circus with her family. They travel the world performing and entertaining different nation. Penny is hoping to be the world's best circus performer. She practices everyday in the hope of one day becoming that. Penny one day over hears her family talking about recruiting a new family into their circus so it can expand.(you don't see her family just voices and penny) Penny is excited about this idea and starts dreaming about her solo act making it big. But the part penny did not listen to was the part that she was going to have to perform with another little girl.( we hear this part while penny is dreaming so it's clear penny doesn’t hear)  Ever since hearing the news of the recruitment of the new family penny can’t wait to perform her next show. She wants to be able to show of all of her skills so she is practicing everyday so she can be the best.

While penny is practicing one day the new little girl comes in and induces herself. Penny had no idea about this little girl but acts as if she does. Penny is very hesitant to welcome her as this is a huge surprise to her she had no idea she was going to have competition.Penny doesn't see this new girl Millie as a new friend she only views her of competition.  Penny is very rude at first. Penny tells her new partner that she doesn't really need a partner because her act is as great already but she know she has to perform with this new girl Millie so she agrees to working with her but not in the friendliest manor. She decides among herself that she was going to be the lead and Millie could just be her sidekick. She says nothing to Millie but tries pushing sidekick roles on Millie. Penny idea was that she will juggle while millie just throws more balls and pins at her.Millie explains she's doesn't agree with any of Pennys idea and tries telling her an idea. Millie idea involves the both of them been the main people in the act which will  make it bigger and better. Millie examples the act (two of them and going to juggle together while throwing balls and pins right up into the air crossing each other and back down to Penny and Millie). Penny doesn't agree but she doesn't have any reason not to she’s just afraid of Millie been better than her. Millie explains to Penny that in order for there act to work they must work together, they need to practice as a team to become the ultimate act. Penny embarrassingly agrees and they practice together.

It's time for Penny and Millie first act as a duo, they have been practicing all week for their first act together, They have became friends at this stage so they are both super excited but nervous as well. They perform their act which involves loads of amazing tricks (juggling, tightrope walking, acrobats etc). We see at the end of their show that they learned to put their skills before anything and by doing this they become the best of friends.
