Stephen main talk was tips and hints to get your foot in the industry door.

• Be Realistic- don’t apply for job that need years of experience such as director.
• Go for enter level jobs.
• Don’t stop working on your showreel!
• Keep applying for the same job don’t give up but don’t send in the same showreel everytime keep updating adding more shows that you want it.

A question stephen asked was “is there anyone interested in any roles that they think might not be as creative?”I asked “Production Assistant” He said “exactly” then went on to talk about how Production assistant is a great way to get into the industry because the role of production assistant gets to learn the whole pipeline and how its works. Leading them to know how all aspects of studio works and helping them to move more towards the goal end job whether it be director, animator, rigging etc?
