Director Job

My animatic was one of the chosen ones for the Peter McVerry Trust. As I was picked I would now be the director of this project.

Sitting down with my group we look at what worked well in my animatic and what still needed to be changed. The concept of the Pop up book with a character interacting with it was working well. Deciding whether or not to keep the illustrated style pictures or real images pictures like the sample piece I showed was what we needed to decide.

As a group we decided to try out the image type style. But I need to make another animatic to see if this worked better as a style.

We have also decided to change what happens on page to page.

-First page would be the struggle of Jimmy across Dublin city

-Second page Jimmy would enter his own home.

-We see Jimmy in the sitting room of his own home.
